A little information about silk designs
You will find most silk bouquets and wearable art are suprisingly light! For fully wired bouquets florist wire is used as the flower stems which is much lighter than an organic stem. Designs that have artificial stems will be heaver than fully wired designs. The guage of the wire varies depending on how large the flower head is and how much support it needs. All wires are concealled and covered to there are no sharp points. Every design is professionally finished including embelishments of lace, ribbon, decorative pins, decorative wire and gems.
Care instructions-
Bouquets can be displayed in a vase or even an old wine bottle to keep all flowers in shape. Although they are quite hardy designs, treat them kindly as wires can bend out of shape if handled too roughly or dropped. Hold them are you would a fresh bouquet or flower design and they will last a very long time :)
Do not store in direct sunlight as silk flowers may fade over time from prolonged exposure.
The only cleaning likely needed is dusting if on display for a long time. Simply dust with a feather duster or gently wipe down petals with a damp cloth to remove any dust.
